Healthy Canadians and Communities Fund

Healthy Canadians and Communities Fund (HCCF) is a funding program of the Public Health Agency of Canada.

The HCCF supports healthy living among Canadians who face health inequalities and are at greater risk of developing the main chronic diseases of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. It does this by funding interventions that address behavioural risk factors (i.e., physical inactivity, unhealthy eating, and tobacco use) for chronic disease and aims to create physical and social environments that are known to support better health among Canadians.

Under this solicitation, eligible organizations can submit an application for the implement of an intervention. Details about the Implement Phase solicitation and eligibility requirements can be found on the HCCF Website. Please note that the deadline for the first stage of this solicitation is Wednesday December 21st at 12 PM Pacific time.

The submissions of applications will be through our online portal. Please visit the Applicant guide, Apply,  and Contact Us sections of the Public Health Agency of Canada website to learn more or to reach out for information.

A webinar will also be offered for potential applicants who wish to learn more and ask questions about the HCCF, and the online portal. It is important to note that the webinar will be recorded and those who join the session are agreeing to participate in the recording and having their image and voice recorded.
