Lessons Learned from The Dr. Peter Centre’s Hepatitis C Micro-Elimination Project

Date: Wednesday, July 20, 2022

Time: 10-11 AM Pacific time

The Dr. Peter Centre (DPC) is an integrated health care facility that provides holistic complex care for people living with HIV and other health and social challenges. In 2021, the DPC received funding from the Public Health Agency of Canada to lead a Hepatitis C micro-elimination project to achieve the elimination of Hepatitis C among all Dr. Peter Centre participants. The webinar will share lessons learned from the implementation of the project amidst intersecting COVID-19 and drug toxicity crises, and discuss the role integrated health care models play to ensure Hepatitis C and other health challenges among folks experiencing multiple barriers to care are comprehensively addressed.
