You’re Invited to AVI Annual General Meeting

On behalf of AVI’s Board of Directors, we would like to invite you to AVI’s Annual General Meeting on Tuesday November 24 from 12:00-1:30 PM Pacific time via Zoom.

This year’s guest speaker will be Nathan Lachowsky, a community-based HIV researcher, facilitator of enquiry-based learning, and health equity advocate. Nathan, an Associate Professor at the University of Victoria’s School of Public Health and Social Policy and Research Director at a non-profit Community-Based Research Centre, is leading a nationwide project to gather data on how COVID-19 has affected sexual and gender minority people in hopes of identifying what kind of additional support is necessary for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer (LGBTQ) and other sexual and gender minorities during the pandemic. Learn more about Nathan.

We greatly appreciate your support and hope you can join us for our AGM.

An AVI membership allows you to participate in the AGM by voting, as well as providing support for our work and strengthening our professional and political presence in the communities we represent.
