Dear HIV and Hepatitis C Community Action Fund Recipients,
As we recognize World AIDS Day on December 1, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) is highlighting the efforts of community-based organizations across the country to reduce HIV, hepatitis C and other sexually transmitted and blood borne infections.
The HIV and Hepatitis C Community Action Fund (CAF) is currently funding 123 organizations to implement 85 projects working at the community level to prevent new infections, reduce stigma and discrimination, and increase access to testing and treatment.
To share more broadly what each project funded through the CAF is undertaking, project descriptions are now posted on the PHAC website.
This is an opportunity to showcase the important work that is being done by our funding recipients. As projects are implemented, we look forward to promoting opportunities for organizations to share their accomplishments and lessons learned from these initiatives.
Regards,
