Camp Moomba is a free, overnight summer camp program for youth (6-17 yrs) living with and impacted by HIV! At Moomba, campers choose their challenge in activities like kayaking, arts and crafts, and archery, while connecting with their peers to challenge HIV stigma, and learning Indigenous teachings from Elder Val.
Moomba provides everything campers need for a week of fun, including high quality nursing care, all costs (including transportation) for youth living in BC, and a passionate team of staff and volunteers. This year, camp is taking place July 15 – 20. To participate, campers must be between 6 and 17, and be aware that someone in their close family is living with HIV.
