Prison Outreach Worker (full-time, 35 hours per week)

Working in collaboration within the Prison Outreach Team and with other Positive Living Staff and Volunteers, and under the direction of the Manager of Peer Navigation and Prison Outreach Programs, the Prison Outreach Program Worker will perform a wide range of program duties related to HIV positive people and the prison system within British Columbia including: client assessment, case management and emotional support for incarcerated and recently released inmates, program planning, development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation, overseeing the POP line, developing and delivering trainings, providing support to POP volunteers, networking with community and government agencies to build support for inmate issues and coordinating participation in annual AIDS WALKs in the prisons. Director of Human Resources (part-time, 17.5 hours per week)

The Human Resources Director is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, monitoring and evaluation of policies, procedures, administrative systems, and programs supporting the effective utilization of Positive Living Society of BC’s paid and volunteer human resources. This includes administering the prevailing Collective Agreement, planning for and effects recruitment, training, discipline and evaluation of both bargaining unit and excluded employees and volunteer workers, and directly supervising staff and providing work direction to volunteers.
