Data have been obtained through members of the BC Drug Overdose and Alert Partnership (DOAP), a multi-sectoral committee that was established to prevent and reduce the harms associated with substance use. This report also includes up to date information on harm reduction strategies used to mitigate these adverse outcomes. It discusses interpretations, comparisons, and limitations of the data to provide the reader with a greater understanding of the bigger picture related to drug use in BC.
