The Public Health Agency of Canada is continually monitoring the public health risk to Canada and has developed interim infection prevention and control guidance for patients in acute care settings with suspected or confirmed Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) infection. Join us for this webinar where we will review the global situation of the MERS-CoV and key infection prevention and control measures as informed by the Agency’s Infection Prevention and Control Expert Working Group, the Influenza and Other Respiratory Infectious Diseases Federal/Provincial and Territorial Working Group and current scientific evidence about this emerging respiratory pathogen.
