Join us for this upcoming webinar on HIV Point of Care Testing (POCT). The first presentation covers the introduction and use of POCT at Nine Circles Community Health Centre, a community-based non-profit centre specializing in HIV testing, prevention and care in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The presentation provides a technical description on the use of POC test kits in clinical settings through to the findings of their evaluation of client and provider satisfaction. The second presentation presents key findings from a recent Agency rapid review of the literature examining the evidence for the patient acceptability and cost-effectiveness of POCT, and evidence of the impact of HIV rapid testing on awareness of HIV status and linkage to care.
