Dear community partners,
With the pending changes to TransLink ’s system as they transition to the Compass Program, we all share concerns about how this may affect the low-income families and individuals we serve.
To address some of these issues, we would like to invite 1-2 staff members from your organization to a meeting on September 30 at the YWCA Metro Vancouver Downtown location, where TransLink representatives will deliver a presentation on the Compass Program and answer any questions you might have.
Issues covered will include bulk buying of Compass tickets by service providers, expiry dates for purchased Compass tickets and changes to the existing service that will have an impact on low-income families.
