Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network has new brochure resources

Canadian HIV Legal Network

Know Your Rights is a series of brochures addressing the privacy rights and disclosure obligations of people living with HIV in a variety of day-to-day contexts. Using a question-and-answer format, the brochures provide practical and accessible legal information.

The first four brochures in the series are now available:

  1. Disclosure at work
  2. Accommodation in the workplace
  3. Remedies for discrimination and privacy violations in the workplace
  4. Disclosure and post-secondary education

The brochures can be downloaded via www.aidslaw.ca/privacy
OR HERE

We also have a limited number of hard copies available. The brochures are designed to be unfolded into a wall-poster or kept folded up as a portable reference. They are printed with the English text on one side and the French on the other.

If you would like to order a package of twenty sets of the brochures for distribution at your AIDS service organization, please complete the attached order form and send it to Terry Gould at [email protected]. Packages will be mailed out on a first-come-first-served basis
