In order to highlight the importance of HIV positive Peer Educators, the Vancouver Island Persons Living with HIV/AIDS Society (VPWAS) has initiated a peer educator award though the Positive Living Peer Support Program and generous donations to the Rob Greenwood Memorial Fund.
The ‘Rob Greenwood Memorial Fund Peer Educator Award’ will be granted to a peer educator that has done exceptionally well in his or her outreach and education of the issues that surround living with HIV/AIDS.
The Board and staff of VPWAS are happy to announce the first recipient of the ‘Rob Greenwood Memorial Fund Peer Educator Award’ is Romari Undi and will be recognized at our Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on Sunday January 13, 2013.
