Job Posting – Peer Facilitator / Research Assistant– Positive Living Society of BC

Position Summary:
Positive Living BC seeks Peer Facilitators to assist in the implementation of research and program development initiatives to support the “Small Group Intervention to Reduce HIV Sexual Transmission Risk Behaviour Among HIV-Positive Men Who Have Sex With Men” study. This is a collaboration between Positive Living BC, Dr. Trevor Hart at Ryerson University, Dr. Barry Adam at the University of Windsor, Dr. Malcolm Steinberg at Simon Fraser University, the Ontario Positive Prevention Working Group (PPWG), and a team of researchers, which will implement an intervention strategy for HIV-positive men who have sex with men (MSM) that promotes sexual health in a community-based framework. This is the third phase of a project that involves fully testing the sexual health program with HIV-positive gay and bisexual men.
