Position Summary:
The Positive Living Society of BC (formerly BCPWA) is a consumer-led, member driven, registered charitable society run by and for persons living with HIV and AIDS.
The Treatment, Health and Wellness Programs Coordinator coordinates the provision of comprehensive approaches to preventing illness, informs members about healthy choices available to them, and promotes increased personal responsibility. Oversees volunteers in the various programs and monitors results. Researches and disseminates current information on HIV/AIDS treatments, health promotion, and disease prevention. Provides information, referral, and support in the development of individual treatment, health and wellness plans. Undertakes investigations and analysis in support of treatment, health and wellness advocacy issues.
