Stanton Peele, Ph.D., J.D., is a renowned psychologist who has for the past 40 years challenged the more simplistic notions and models of addiction that have predominated the North American debate. He is one of the pioneers of harm reduction, acknowledging that addiction occurs with a range of experiences and that there is something called a natural recovery from addiction. He is the author of Love and Addiction, The Meaning of Addiction,7 Tools to Beat Addiction, etc., and is the Developer of the Life Process Program for defeating addiction.
