Hi friends!
We could not be more pleased with the strong response we have received from our member organizations with regards to the numbers of registrations to-date for our PHA Forum and AGM, as well as for the CATIE/PAN Pacific Region Educational Conference.
The conference will be taking place at the Vancouver Marriott Airport Hotel in Richmond, BC. It will be held on October 28 and 29, with the PAN PHA Forum scheduled on the evening of October 27 and the PAN AGM scheduled during lunch on October 28.
The PAN PHA Forum and AGM will include a great deal of important updates for PAN member organizations on the work of the network since our last meeting in October 2008.
And the educational conference that CATIE and PAN are bringing you, is going to be fantastic with some excellent speakers and presenters. Click here for a draft agenda and conference program.
If you have not yet registered for the meetings and conference, here are some helpful FAQ’s:
If you are a PAN Delegate…
1). CATIE is handling the registration (yes, even for PAN delegates). So, the registration form needs to go in to CATIE.
2). The link to the registration form for PAN delegates, you cant type directly onto it. It is not that kind of form. So, you need to print it off and then fill it in by hand. Here is the link for the form to use if you are a PAN Delegate: http://events.catie.ca/PEC%202009/PAN%20Registration%20Package.pdf
3). You can send the completed form in a couple of different ways. You can FAX it to 416.203.8284. Or scan it and then email to [email protected].
4). The contact for registration questions, concerns, is Joseph Van Veen at CATIE. You can reach him at 1-800-263-1638 ext.254 or [email protected].
If you are not a PAN Delegate…
5). Other people besides the "two official" PAN delegates, can and will be attending this conference. So, this can include additional people from a PAN member organization (if more than 2 want to go). Or folks from non-PAN organizations and agencies (pretty much anyone who is interested in or working in the area).
6). The deadline for general registration (i.e. any person who wants to attend, but who is not a PAN delegate), is September 30th. (please note, if you are registering as a PAN delegate, you dont register here, too). There is no cost to attend the conference and lunch is provided. We encourage anyone who is interested in the conference to attend, and also to register early, as space is limited. You can access the general registration form by clicking on this link: http://www.catie.ca/eng/AboutCATIE/AGM.shtml.
Thanks and see you in October!
