Volunteer Management Workshops and Seminars

from the Federation of Community Social Services of BC

The Federation of Community Social Services of BC is excited to announce the launch of applications and registration for a new series of organizational training workshops and webinars as part of the Community Social Services Training Fund (CSSTF).

Volunteer Management Workshops & Seminars

To complement the two main CSSTF funding streams—the Support for Certification/Education Individual Grant and the Support For Organizational Training Grant—The Federation has partnered with Volunteer BC to offer a new series of online workshops and webinars that will explore various aspects of volunteer management and help community social services organizations adapt their volunteer-adjacent programs in a pandemic/post-pandemic world.

These workshops and seminars are open to all community social service organizations across British Columbia and will address needs and gaps identified during the extensive Community Social Services Training Fund (CSSTF) survey that took place in 2020.

In addition to in-depth workshops, the first two topics also offer a free 2-hour webinar on a separate date. The webinar will be a condensed version of the workshop content and will provide a summary and introduction to the topic. Participants can register for the free webinar and also apply to participate in the workshops.
