Space still Available! HIV, Employment and Human Rights workshop for PHAs

 

PAN is proud to support the Canadian Working Group on HIV and Rehabilitation in bringing a Workshop on HIV, Employment and Human Rights for PHAs to Richmond, BC. 

If you are living with HIV/AIDS and interested in employment issues, you are invited to attend the HIV, Employment and Human Rights workshop on Friday October 30, 2009 from 9:30am – 4:30am, at the Vancouver Airport Marriott Hotel, in Richmond, BC.

The workshop will provide practical information on a variety of employment topics including:
 
–       how others living with HIV have been successfully employed,
–       understanding disclosure rights in the workplace,
–       workplace accommodation options and more
 
This workshop is for people living with HIV who are going into the workforce, returning to work or currently employed.  There is no charge for this event.
