Details: ‘Canada’s largest community-organized World AIDS Day Event.’ We invite your organization to set up an information booth at our 24th annual World AIDS Day Event. You can come and go as you wish; you can leave your information booth unstaffed if you choose; we will pick up all leftover information at the end of the day and re-use it at other events. 100% FREE. Activities: video & other entertainment, food & refreshments, free HCV and HIV testing,  prizes throughout day, health information-HIV, HCV, and HBV!

A Mile in Our Moccasins

HIV Word Search Puzzles: Win a Prize!

Details: The HIV word search puzzle will be available Nov 14 at the KDC Cape Mudge Health site on Quadra Island. The second puzzle will be put out on Nov 20. Participants are encouraged to drop their entry off by noon Dec 1. Three $25.00 gift cards will be drawn at 3 pm Dec 1st in support of HIV/AIDS awareness. We will be encouraging people to complete different HIV word search puzzles throughout the last two weeks of November and deposit it in our entry box to win one of 3 $25 gift cards. The draw is scheduled for 3 pm on Dec. 1st. This should encourage people to look at the table setup as well as may provide an opportunity to discuss some of the vocabulary in the word search puzzles
