2019 Regional Training: Interior Health

Our second Regional Training for Spring 2019 will take place in Nelson May 15-16, in partnership with Interior Health.


The program is focusing on Health Equity. 

Program highlights include:

Two-Spirit Reconciliation: Honoring the Truth; Reconciling for the Future
Presenter/Facilitator: Harlan Pruden

Part 1 – What is Health Equity? Just a minute, I need to think on that one!
Presenter/Facilitator: Dr. Sana Shahram
Objective: To examine different understandings of health equity through images and metaphors. Through an interactive discussion of images and metaphors, we will examine current understandings of health equity.

Part 2 – Got Your Health Equity Glasses On? What would Beyoncé Do?
Objective: To explore how each one of us can contribute to pushing the health equity agenda forward and championing equitable health outcomes for all people.
