Risk Mitigation and Safer Supply: What’s Next and What’s Needed

This addition to our PAN Presents webinar series focuses on safer supply. More than a year ago, BC introduced the clinical guidance Risk Mitigation in the Context of Dual Health Emergencies. Hear about how the guidance has been updated to reflect lived and clinical experiences as drug poisonings are worse than ever and the COVID-19 pandemic evolves – and where it fits within the province’s plans for prescribed safer supply. Session includes Q& A.

Suggested audience:
• People who use drugs and members of their communities
• Frontline workers providing support in HIV, hepatitis C and/or harm reduction
• Peer support workers
• Executive Directors and program managers
• Social service and healthcare providers
• People working in policy and public health
• Allies and community members

After viewing, please complete evaluation to help us plan for future sessions.
