Invitation to Participate – CAAN Educational Resource Review Committee

Over the past 2 years CAAN has been working with researchers, people with lived experience and indigenous organizations to develop resources for indigenous serving agencies and indigenous peoples living with HIV, Hep C and STBBI’s. Some of these resources can be found on the CAAN Promising Practices site.

In an effort to ensure these resources are culturally relevant, effective and supportive to the people we serve – we are creating a Resource Review Committee to provide input on the content, format, graphics and language. The committee will meet for 1.5-2 hours bi-weekly or monthly from the end of April to the end of October – honorariums will be provided for individuals not tied to an agency.

Ideally this committee will consist of a group that represents various demographics including;
• Women
• Youth
• People with Lived/Living Experience
• LGBTQ+/Two-spirited
• Service Providers

If you or anyone you know who identifies as indigenous/with lived/living experience who might be interested in participating please contact me at [email protected] or 289-681-3593
