Love Positive Women – Share Yours!

via the Canadian Positive People Network (CPPN)

The CPPN is developing an ambitious initiative that will, during the first two weeks of February, acknowledge and promote “Love Positive Women”. We do take our love for positive women from coast-to-coast-to-coast seriously and I know that you do too. CPPN is hoping you add your support to ours for this crucially important campaign.

Specifically…

1. You are invited to share with us a quote which celebrates the lives and love of positive women from across the country (with attribution).

2. If you have the time and desire, we would welcome a brief written article from you that reflect your own and your organization’s love for positive women in Canada. AND/OR a share of materials already prepared by you and your teams that we can include with our written materials.

3. We would be super-happy if you were willing to record a short video message (3-5 minutes) acknowledging your organization’s love for positive women in Canada and the importance of an enduring voice of positive women in the domestic (and international) response to HIV (and HIV co-infections).

We plan to roll out our “campaign” starting on February 1 (and ongoing through February 14) with focus on written messages and social media posts. Our intention is to gather all video message submissions so that we can produce and publish an audio-visual presentation closer to the end of the second week of February.

We sincerely hope that you can and will make whatever contribution you feel is appropriate and possible to our ambitious effort. If you have a written or video contribution, please send it (and/or your questions) to [email protected], by January 20, if possible.

In solidarity always and on behalf of the CPPN’s Board of Directors, its Communications Committee, and every Member of the CPPN from across Canada, thank you.

Jeff Potts, Executive Director, CPPN
