New CIHR Team Grant: Boy’s and Men’s Health

CIHR has announced an exciting new initiative aimed at improving the health outcomes of boys and men. The grant is entitled Advancing Research to Improve Boys’ and Men’s Health. Within the call, there is a targeted pool for HIV/AIDS related research.

The CIHR Institute for Gender and Health has launched this initiative with its partners in response to the urgent need for increased attention and research capacity to address the evidence that, despite faring better than women on economic measures such as earnings and employment progression, men face poorer outcomes in health and wellbeing across a range of key indicators.
