DTES Powwow & Cultural Celebration: Honouring our Elders
This year the event will be once again hosted at the Hastings Urban Farm (58 west Hastings) in the heart of the DTES on September 14, 2013. At the core of this event is accessibility and openness too all community members, as such it is integral that we keep this event as low cost as possible. In order ensure this endeavor is as effective as possible, we are asking for your help to fundraise the costs to host drummers and dancers and to cover equipment rentals and food costs.
