When starting an evaluation project, there are so many different options (i.e. methods, strategies, processes) and approaches available that it can be difficult to decide which to use. To assist with this and the larger evaluation planning process, Better Evaluation has developed a Rainbow Framework and Planning Tool that asks the reader a series of key questions that will help to plan an evaluation. As described by Better Evaluation, the tool, “can be used to develop a complete evaluation plan, or to undertake a discrete task such as documenting agreements in the evaluation Terms of Reference.” If you are looking for some help in planning your next evaluation, take a look at this useful resource here.
