A Must See: CBC’s “8th Fire”

There’s a new series on CBC called 8th Fire.

8TH Fire draws from an Anishinaabe prophecy that declares now is the time for Aboriginal peoples and the settler community to come together and build the ‘8th Fire’ of justice and harmony

It is a four-part series that documents and discusses the relationship between Aboriginal people and Canadians. Written, produced and featuring First Nations, Inuit and Metis people, it’s an education in history and contemporary issues and is designed to dispel many stereotypes and myths.

It is interesting, eye-opening and entertaining! Each episode is 5 minutes long – and the First one: Indigenous in the City features some well-known BC voices including Leslie Varley and Dr. Evan Adams.

Congratulations CBC!

Come be a part of the dialogue!
